[K-Exclusive]: Xdinary Heroes Showcases their Beautiful Minds at the Hollywood Palladium

Written by on agosto 20, 2025

As the lights dimmed at the Hollywood Palladium this past Thursday evening, Xdinary Heroes emerged like true protagonists through a curtain of fog. Armed with their instruments and with their voices warmed up, the band prepared for a show that would give fans meaningful music with relatable lyrics that emphasized who Xdinary Heroes really are.

The band opened with “Beautiful Life,” a title that doubles as a goal. As the first words were heard by the crowd, the band immediately set a tone of self reflection, and of celebrating existence while acknowledging its hardships. The opening track wasn’t just an energetic start or a coincidental choice, it was an invitation to listen closely to the messages and the melodies that would follow as the Beautiful Minds tour carried on.

Songs like “XYMPHONY” featured catchy guitar riffs and a variety of emotion. These tracks toed a balance between high energy instrumentals and empathetic and rebellious lyrics, creating a unique listening experience. “Bad Chemical” and “LOVE and FEAR” followed, showcasing the band’s complex emotions and inner conflict. Just as the rock and punk rock genres have always done, these songs perfectly allowed the band to express their impulses, their feelings, and their thoughts through heavy beats and powerful vocals.

FIGHT ME” and “FEELING NICE” created a direct emotional conversation next. Both songs were intense, though one in rebellion and defiance and the other in joy, and illustrated Xdinary Heroes’ duality. Aside from their duality, it was also a great representation of human nature itself, showing how explosive yet calm emotions could be, and the wide range of things people can feel. “George the Lobster” switched up the atmosphere once again with its quirkiness. While fans, known as Villains, had already had the chance to see so many aspects of the band, this brought about a playfulness that hadn’t appeared prior. The next few songs, such as “more than i like,” brought tones of regret and sadness, showcasing yet another piece of the mind.

As the evening began to reach its end, “Walking to the Moon” and “PLUTO” brought the show further into Xdinary Heroes’ minds. The lyrics for these tracks were vulnerable, as if the further the show progressed, the deeper into the mind we were traveling. The show ended with the highest possible energy for the crowd with “Strawberry Cake,”Money On My Mind,” and “iNSTEAD!”.

All in all, Xdinary Heroes’ Hollywood Palladium show was not just a night to enjoy music, though the music was also, of course, enjoyable. Instead, the show was more of deep dive into emotional vulnerability and honesty. Through each song on the setlist, the band emphasized their identity and the fact that they’re not perfect heroes, but ordinary people braving life’s complexity.

Special thank you to Xdinary Heroes and team for allowing Officially Kmusic to attend!
